Meet Our Team - Introducing Michaela, Synthesis Spa Therapist

We felt you may like to meet some of the vibrant team behind our brand so will be introducing some of the Synthesis tribe in upcoming blog posts. First up is Michaela, a Synthesis Spa Therapist and part of our creative team. You'll be hearing from her from a therapist's perspective in upcoming posts as well. Hello, I’m Michaela!I have always had a keen interest in the Beauty Industry and during University I was lucky enough to help as an Intern at an organic makeup company. This experience got me thinking about the effects added chemicals in cosmetic products can have on our bodies. After studying in Canada on Exchange in 2014 and experiencing the effects of the harsh winter climate on my skin, I began researching about the largest organ of our body and how best to maintain it!I became passionate about Natural and Organic Skincare as I adopted the outlook that whatever you put onto your skin it absorbs, just the same way that whatever you put into your mouth, your body uses as fuel! You wouldn’t orally consume a concoction of chemicals, so why would you want to put them on your skin?!In 2015 I received a scholarship to study my Diploma and International Diploma in Beauty Therapy & Aromatherapy at ANCB College Sydney and this ignited a passion for Holistic Health, Alternative Medicine, and Wellness. I am so excited to now be working on Synthesis Organics and to be able to combine my passion with my career. Not only is the company proudly Australian, the Brand Philosophy epitomizes the reasons why I wanted to be a part of this industry and the value of their products is immeasurable. I can feel the difference just as much as I can see it!Through Synthesis I hope to help spread the message of using Australian, organic, chemical-free skincare as I believe it is an extremely important change people should try to make in their lives to reduce illness and cultivate a loving and nurturing regime that is better for both the environment and the body, because after all – we only get one!Love xx
