It can be hard being the underdog, but Synthesis Organics has proved the beauty giants have some competition on their hands. The homegrown brand has just been named a finalist in the third annual Sustainable Beauty Awards, with entries coming from around the globe.

The brand is one of four set to potentially take out the Green Formulations award, competing against the Weleda Evening Primrose range, Esse Probiotic Skincare, and the Urtekram Coconut range.
